A Sacred Space for Your Story

You have been carrying your story for a long time. The experiences, the losses, the transitions, the grief you never quite had space to name. This application is the first step toward finally giving that story the space it deserves.

Compass Asia offers structured debriefing for Christian global workers using the Le Rucher Exchange at the Cross™ model — a biblically rooted, five-day process that walks alongside you as you look back honestly at what you have been through and what you have been carrying.

We will be in contact within five business days of receiving your application.

Choose Your Format

Before completing the form, take a moment to consider which format fits your situation best. All three follow the same Exchange at the Cross framework.

Retreat — Penang Hill, Malaysia

$950 per person · $1,650 per couple

Five days at the Penang Hill Retreat Center. All meals and accommodation included. Small group format combining personal one-on-one sessions with your debriefer and group plenary sessions. Fixed dates throughout the year.

2027 dates: February 14–19 · February 28–March 5 · April 25–30 · August 22–27

Retreat — Odessa, Florida

$950 per person · $1,650 per couple

Five days on a beautiful private farm just outside Tampa. All meals and accommodation included. The same structured retreat experience in a peaceful, unhurried setting for workers based in or traveling to the United States.

2026 date: August 16–21

In-Person Debriefing

$550 per person · $900 per couple.

Private, one-on-one debriefing over five days. Two options:

You come to us — Travel to Penang, Malaysia for your debriefing. You manage your own travel, accommodation, and meals. We provide the debriefer and the sessions.

We come to you — We travel to your location. You cover our travel costs. We provide the debriefer and the sessions.

Either way, the $550 debriefing fee covers Compass Asia's facilitation only. All travel, accommodation, and meals are separate and managed by the relevant party.

Online Debriefing

$450 per person · $700 per couple.

Five sessions of approximately 90 minutes each over two weeks via video call. The complete Exchange at the Cross framework, adapted for workers who cannot travel or step away from their context.

What Happens After You Apply

Once we receive your application, our team will review your details and respond within five business days. We will confirm which format and dates are available, discuss any questions you have, and provide payment information to secure your place.

Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit of $250 (Individual) or $400 non-refundable deposit (couple) secures your place, with the balance due 30 days before your debriefing begins.

Full payment upfront is also welcome.

Church partners: If your sending church is a Compass Asia partner, your debriefing may be fully or partially covered. Please note this on your application. Learn about church partnership.
